Wow, amazing!

We just finished a 2400 km trip from Saskatchewan to Minneapolis and back. We achieved 41 mpg (Canadian, 34 for the States) and that's with a full car, airconditioning on all the time, driving inefficiently (70 to 80 mph) and a trunk full of luggage. Pretty darn good if you ask me! It was a comfortable ride, despite not having the room of our mini-van. Thanx Toyota, my gas cost estimates were way too high!

This past spring I drove to central California and back which is only about 400 miles all together from where I drove. I also filled up the car full tank set the road trip odometer. My gas left told me I had about 320 miles left before I' am out, I reached right around 400 miles. My car was not full nor did I have luggage, or bodies in the trunk. I did have the A/C on though.
