Exclamation Power module

Hi every body. Im new to this forum.

I purchased an 09 Carolla S. Just to let everyone know I bought a Jet Performance Module (pn #67029) for this vehicle and it didnt fit. Its listed at Jet Performance http://www.jetchip.com/Shop/shopdisp...ppp=10&catID=1 , Summit Racing http://www.summitracing.com/parts/JET-67029/ and many other web sites. But the wiring instructions didnt match for my model. I called Jet performance as instructed in the instructions and got the "i'm sorry there is nothing we can do" run around. So.. if you try and add this to your power line up, DONT! I ended up having to return mine to Summit Racing for a full refund.

Those "performance modules" are nothing more inside than a resistor that fools the sensor they are connected to into thinking the temperature is different to change what the computer does. Unfortunately, they don't work. There are no performance chip solutions for our car that work unless you want to spend around $900 for a Unichip with custom installation.

I would recommend getting your money back and NOT installing this.

Actually, I agree with quite a lot of what he posts. It just so happened that we disagreed in those other threads.
