Am I getting a decent price on a new 2010 Corolla S?

So I am just looking for something to get my from point A to point B that is good on gas and very reliable. I walked into my local toyota dealership and fell in love with the 2010 Corolla S, especially when I test drove it. They are giving 1.9% financing deals so I worked out a deal and signed some papers. I have until the end of the week to decide whether I am going to pick up the car or get my deposit back. They quoted me $17,300 for one that has every option except a sunroof and leather seating. I figured the Corolla would be the way to go since my current daily driver is a 2000 Camry with 198k miles and still running strong! Any opnions on whether this is the right direction price-wise?

PS: I am not new to autoforums and have used the search feature with no luck on this topic.

Id say your deal is fine, nothing crazy, but you're not getting ripped off. I've seen people pay more.

That looks like a fine price, but if I were you and you were looking for commuter car, then just buy an LE. I bought my LE during a summer sale for around 15.6k. If you're firm on the S, I think they were selling for around that same price a month ago.

Damn, I searched "good price corolla a." I am not to familiar with the options list, and that person who made the other post didn't note which transmission he got.

Make sure your quotes are on the road not a cent more.
If they sense you fallen in love w/it you will not get the best price.

doesn't sound too bad, though I would get the sunroof for that price. at that pricepoint, I hope you are getting the JBL option.

I think there was another guy here with a LS2 GTO who got an S for a daily driver as well.
