Okay, next question would be, how would you make them into your daytime runners? Just the leds at the top like the pic in the day time would be sweet as hell.
Or does anyone have the electrical schematic of the daylight system?

And as illegal as hell. Can't run anything on the outside of your car with a blue lint legally.
I'm pretty sure the white balance on the camera is set out of whack and those are really white.
But I've seen cars around here run blue LED strips. I hope that the local popo cracks down and pulls them all over sooner or later. IMO, It's ugly and causes distractions to other drivers.

I'm not thinking about running these as a main source of light output, only as a DRL. AUDI has it on it's new cars, and where I got the idea from, the facebook find only sparked my interest even more.
I mean if AUDI has it on there cars, why would doing the same thing be illegal. If it's illegal I wont do it, but it's just not sitting in my head right cause I seen cars here (3audi's) that have the LED DRL.
Also I wouldn't use the super bright LED's just the standard WHITE ones, if it's "legal". As I said before, I'm not using it to be any source of light, and DRL are not a source of light for the user, only a visual to other drivers that yes you are a car, and yes you are coming. I may be wrong...

The thing I would be careful of is that the Audi headlight would be a DOT approved headlight. You won't get in trouble for that, but you could for yours and wind up leaving yourself open for a ticket. Just be careful and know you might be running a risk.

As long as you stick with the white lights I think you should be fine. I would check out your local, and state laws for external lighting on vehicles to be 100 sure though
