Canada 2010 CE: Reverse lamps wired Positive -Or- Negative-side switching?

Hey everyone:

Wondering if anyone knows which method Toyota wired the reverse lights in the 2010 Corolla.

Positive-side or Negative(Ground)-side switched...

Thanks in advanced.

Cheers,
John

I can tell you this. The headlights are negative switching as are most things that are controlled by an ECU. easy enoght to tell. Just put a volt meter on the positive side of the reverse light to ground when the light is off. If you have voltage then it is negative switching. (Also, you'd get no continuity to ground).

Reverse lights are positive switched. The wire is a red colour wire in a group of wires coming into the left side of the trunk from the cabin. I used it to wire up my backup sensor. Here is a pic
