Exclamation XRS clutch

so i went to the dealer to get my car checked due to the occasional engine issue, apparently all seems to be fine, and my car seems to be working fine as well, so not sure what had happened few days back.
anyway, the tech found out that my clutch pedal needed readjustment. the tech said, that I had played around with my clutch pedal causing it to reposition. in other words, it was higher than it shud be. now i personally didnt do anything to that pedal, its been the way it is since i picked up the car brand new from the dealership. they said clutch repairs are not covered under warranty so they'd charge me $60 for readjusting, and the tech said it'll take him 15 mins. i told him to go ahead cause he said its causing an issue with my clutch engagement/disengagement. it took the guy nearly an hour to correct it to "factory" settings, they ended up charging me $50 for their error. no worries there.
when i actually sat in my car to drive back home, i could not believe how much of a difference that adjustment had made . it was almost like i had to learn the engagement point again. honestly, it feels 10X better than how it was previously, the clutch pedal travel is significantly shorter now and its very smooth to operate the clutch and gearbox.
this makes me wonder how many other xrs 5spd owners are driving their cars who could also have the same issue and not know about it. i suggest check your clutch pedal height, it should be same level as your brake pedal if not even lower.
just thought i'd put it out there in case anyone else ever wondered why is their clutch pedal travel distance so long. again, it might have just been my car.

When I got the car I asked about the clutch positioning because it was higher than the brake and gas pedal and they said that was normal...UGH!

The clutch pedal sits quite a bit higher than the brake pedal in all 10th Gen Corollas. It's the normal positioning.
