Outside air coming in from the door

I noticed today outside air coming in from the handle on the driver side door. I just got the car yesterday. Is this normal?

No that's not normal. I have checked and mine doesn't do that, I also checked my friends and his doesn't do it either.

Hum, I first noticed it when I had the moon roof open when I was on the highway. When it was open I felt a ton of air coming from the door. After I closed the moon roof air didn't come in as much, but now that its getting cold I noticed even the small amount of cold air coming in. Its definitely more noticable when I'm driving has on the highway.

Take it to the dealer... Also check all of your moldings for cracks, tears, not sticking in the groove or having the push clips hanging out the door.

Some may not notice the air movement coming through the handle however some airflow is there.
I will try to explain.
Behind the door panel is a plastic vapour barrier much like the vapour barrier in home construction, (a plastic sheet). The door handle is connected to a "rod" that must go through, or pierce the vapour barrier to connect to the locking mechanism inside the door. Wind will flow through the hole that is in the plastic barrier in that location directly behind the handle.
