Would the Corolla look better with a molding?

Most of the cars I had, there were moldings on the side.

Either Toyota didn't put a molding on this generation Corolla, in order to save money, or because it simply looks better without a molding.

Initially, they put moldings to prevent dents on the door. Then moldings became so thin and small, that it was more of a look than protection.

I was wondering if a molding would look good on my Corolla S ( white ), or would it make it look old fashioned???

See for yourself. I think it looks good as not many of the rolla's that came out have them. Plus it serves the purpose of preventing those damn door dings and paint scratches that'll cost hundreds to fix later on.

I have considered it on my blue streak Metalic S.

I think it is dependent on the car color

i ordered BSM for mine when i bought it, then once i had them hold it up to the car i didnt care for it, thought the car looked cleaner without it...left the molding at the dealer....

No moldings on the 10th gen please.

They look out of place.

I look at it this way. It looks better without the molding.

However, if you do get a door ding, you can always buy the molding to hide it plus you'll have a better idea of where other cars are hitting your doors anyways.

I have moldings on my BSM.

I think it breaks up the plain, slab sides on the 10th Gen... and also adds protection.
