first off does anyone know how to tell wether your corollas electrical system is NUMMI made or TMC made ? i have access to corolla diagrams if anybody needs help with something..

Open your driver's side door and there will be a sticker that says where your car was manufactured. If it's NUMMI then it'll say the whole NUMMI name (my car has that)

NUMMI = California Production (VIN starts with 1)
TMMC = Ontario, Canada Production (VIN starts with 2)
TMC = Japan Production (VIN starts with J)

NAP = North American Product
JPP = Japan Produced Product

NUMMI and TMMC = NAP
TMC = JPP

NAP = The same as far as production/wiring goes.
JPP = Different in some cases.

Manual Transmission Corolla = NAP Only
Corolla S and XRS = NAP Only
Canadian Corolla Models = TMMC Only

In other words, a LOT of Corollas are NAP, and (especially in Canada) not as many are JPP, but check your VIN to be sure!
