Because it's a new car?
I have modified lots and lots of cars from simple aesthetic stuff to major driveline/suspension modifications. I have been hesitant to mess with my corolla because It is new. I am getting getting bored and am about to do interior LED mods for lighting as well as the trunk,Auto dim mirror back up camera or sensors and figure out some kind of aftermarket sound system.
Since there aren't much TRD or aftermarket modification support for the corolla, most of the owners on the forum just have simple performance mods like sway bars, short shifter, lowering springs and air intake on it. For look: rims, tinting, led lights, shift knob.....etc

So don't.

The older 8th and 9th generation did.
The new 10th gen got the all new 2ZR-FE to replace the old 1ZZ-FE powerplant.

There already is a decent amount of aftermarket support the the 10th gen, mainly suspension goodies.
However, there is more discussion in this section rather than action, most of it coming from speculation and talking about modifications rather than diving right in and getting in on the action.

I am also hesitant with this being my first new car and not wanting to screw it up. So far the only mod I have made to my 10 is a TWM Short Throw shifter and a TRD shift knob.

i will agree with you here. there are very few people on here that will venture out of the box and try something new.
i was never hesitant to mod my car. i think the majority of the parts I have purchased for my car, i knew tehy was a very big risk of it not fitting or working the way it was expected to work. but overall i've been happy with what I have done.
if you aren't afraid to step out of the box and try something new, they you can just blend in with all the other people looking for parts to be released to the ricer aisle at the auto parts store.
I was trying to start a conversation and discussion within the forum.
Why the attitude?
Because of the response you deleted in the other thread?
I am recommending that you follow your gut instinct in this case. Changing things up on their cars is not for everyone. No one can convince you to do anything unless you already have an underlying interest in doing so. It has nothing to do with what transpired prior to this thread being posted. You are taking things too personally.

That's the right approach and attitude.
I'm glad that the end result met your expectations. It's looking very good indeed.

It's decent FWIW...Its great that Progress offers a RSB that's reasonably priced, and less than the comparable TRD part (still on the fence about buying). I'm hoping that more companies will offer suspension bits besides Eibach, TRD, H&R, Tein, etc.

And it shows...for all the 10th gens I've seen here, I like his the most...best execution of style and parts. Makes me want to order rims lol.

what are you looking for exactly? i might know someone who makes it. considering that the car is a corolla and not a more popular line for modification like the TC or civic, thats alot of choices for a car thats been out for like 2 years.
i'd like to see some lighting besides the lite-brite lego LED sets from Taiwan, and some more effects for the bumpers and grill like what you might find for 8th gen, and SOMETHING for the interior besides wood paneling stickers or fake carbon fiber...
