I just added the TRD Carbon Fiber shift knob. I love the look and feel of it over the stock shift knob. Here are a few pics.

btw is that white plastic piece removable? or another color available? i personally think it'll look a bit better if that part was grey

The knob itself looks good! Personally I wouldnt want that plastic piece there at all, regardless of colour, but otherwise its very sharp!

i like my TRD Japan leather shifter better, but the plastic's exposed. Yours isn't bad at all

It actually is gray but the car was in the garage & I had to use the flash. It looks very good color wise. It's the same shift knob that comes with the TRD short shift kit but the knob is also available by itself.

Here's a better picture without the flash. The silver below the carbon fiber knob matches the silver trim on the center console perfectly.

After driving around with it the past couple of weeks I like it even more than when I first put it on. I had the TRD leather shift knob on my old 88 Corolla GTS and it fit that car better, just like it seems that the CF knob fits my 09 Corolla S better! And it looks great!

i was thinking about the trd leather one too but it wont be a proper fit on our rolla's due to the huge boot retainer ring, the CF one does fit perfectly.

MR2, you can probably turn it another round to fit it more closely. btw, is that material below the CF actually silver ??? mine is chrome/metallic-ish.

I would call it silver on mine, chrome would be more shiney!

I've got that on mine, and it doesn't fit proper, but I got it before I got my XRS, so I ought to use it. It's much lighter than the stock leather shifter, and it mounts slightly higher, and I like the feel a lot better than the stock one Plus, it's TRD

thats wierd, so there are two different versions of this, cause mine is shinny, not silver and i got it from trdsparks.
