MGM S ready for mods

Here's the new car

So I'm thinking of a mild drop with nice road manners, Eibach? The TRD drop seems barely noticeable... ?

Wheels, thinking of 18" Motegi Traklites in flat black... but haven't seen any MGM cars with flat black wheels with no lip.

And some nice tint to round out the pkg... sound good?

tia.

Eibach & TRD are mild drops...

I'd go with GunMetal Rims, they look killer on the MGM's

Tints are always good, nice choice of car. Congrats.

Has anyone regretted going to 18's with all the added unsprung weight with a 1.8L? It seems to add 5-8 lbs per wheel/tire combo and I was worried it would hurt acceleration.

What does anyone think of the same TRD wheel on a silver S??

Does anyone know the weight/dim's of the 16" S model wheel?

Is it 16 x 6.5, 39mm and about 23lbs?

Everything is correct but the weight is 21 lbs.

This is why I asked the question about weight of the 18" wheels which seem to range from 24-28 lbs for most of the wheels that I see.

looks like we're looking at the same possible mods for our S'es...

Looks like there's a LOT of 18's out there that weigh less than 21lb.

For example,

Motegi SP10 19lb 18 x 8 ($160)
Tenzo DC-5/6 21lb 18 x 8 ($235)
Drag DR-33 22lb 18 x 7.5 ($140)
5-Zigen HOT 18lb 18 x 7.5 ($220)
Enkei GTC 21lb 18 x 7.5 ($330)
OZ Racing Chrono HT 19lb 18 x 8 ($169)
Gram Lights 57Max 20lb 18 x 7.5 ($289)
Kosei K3 19lb 18 x 7.5 ($149)

What springs you lookin at?
