I was driving at around 70 mph and I was exiting a curve (not so narrow, with my old corolla 01 I can do it without any problem) in addition a 2009 camry was next to me and do not happened to him...the car started going to right and left constantly (like a motorcycle wobble) I hit the brake and the ABS activated and the car start making a beep beep sound...I was trying to stable the steering wheel.
How can I improve the stability of the car lowering it maybe will help?

Sounds strange, I've not had any issues that sound similar to what you described. Lowering the car will help as well as improving the tires, rear sway bar, & front strut brace.
I just upgraded my wheels & tires and the steering feel is much better with the new 225/45R17 General UHP tires.

Sounds like you don't know how this particular car handles and then you overreacted.
Just sayin.

The beep was VSC
Quote:
As part of the Toyota Star Safety System, VSC automatically adjusts engine output and the vehicles braking force at individual wheels to help control any discrepancy between where the driver is steering and where the vehicle is heading.
VSC has saved my ass before! I was doing about 70 and started drifting and not paying attention. Before I knew it I was in a turning lane with a grass median coming straight at me. Swerved over and somehow managed to stay in the correct lane without side swiping a car that was right beside me.
I have since messed around in a big vacant parking lot figuring out VSC and just how this car handles with the electric power steering and all that! I am actually very impressed.
might be wet and/or cold roads with a layer of dew or ice? happened to me on the freeway before, i lost control on a turn for about 2secs...scary i almost hit the tsx beside me.
I concur that it might just be an over correction. The Corolla's EPS has seen many complaints of steering problems (type in corolla steering problem on the internet). The car seems to drift or sway (according to reports I have read) and when a person tries to correct they over correct or at least the EPS makes it seem so and the car pulls left or right.
I don't know if this is what you experienced or not. I only know that there are numersous complaints about steering.
I own a 2010 XRS and at highway speeds there is some drifting, but nothing like what I have read on the internet or on the NHTSA website which has about 5 or 6 complaints about steering on the 2010 models.

2010 White Corolla XRS (Son's) I always get stuck driving the "old" cars..
I have a black AT XRS '09 since December 2008, this is from PR.
Before arriving at my work building, there is a mid-tight double curve that I sometimes get at 40mph or 50mph, with both VSC and TRAC turned off (I always turn them off, unless there is a huge rain) and me being the only one in the car (less weight).
No problems with drifting or stability, it feels tight. Sure, I won't do that if the road is wet
However, I am planning in getting both TRD bars, the front one and the back one.
