Weather Strips to reduce wind noise

I was reading over at myaltis.com and some people over there did this mod to add a weather strip to their doors to reduce wind noise. Anyone do anything like that over here?

A interesting site. Saw some body kits on one of the threads made in Thailand housing 4 fog lights. Why do they need foglights in the tropics?

Since it's a Malaysian site the cars will most probably be made in Malaysia.

That was a funny response though!

I think that would make the front bumper a super magnet for bugs! I know they are bad enough here in the south and horrible in costa rica so I imagine they have to be as bad over there.

Anyone here ballsy enough to try it?

That is classic, but after giving it some serious thought I think I'll pass.

i actually did this on my maxima and it actually did help cut down some wind noise. that car has a lot of wind noise problem so i used it on four doors and some thinner weather strips inside the rear window channel.
