V6 in a a corolla ??

well i was thinking(dreaming :P ) about a V6 in the 10th gen corolla
i would like to see the venza v6 in it 260hp.... wow X-R-S well i think it would mean it for real loll

this is only speculation and think it have never been done lol

this is a alternative to turboing the 2az (2.4l xrs)

with this much power from the V6, thinking about tuning the car after that is something trivial....(i know how much power this engine does in a venza... smokes me like nothing loll)

so any thoughts about this ? hmmm dreaming ! :P
any technical information about it?(possible or not)

Yeah, they build the Corolla chassis with the 2GR-FE in the Blade Master (GRE156), so I would think it should fit without too much molestation into the other E-chassis cars. Hard to say for sure, but it would be neat.

I'd imagine that since the 2GR-FE fits in the Camry and the Rav4 which also uses the 2AZ-FE that the mounts are in the same place...

So i wouldn't see why it wouldn't fit in our cars. The question is, how're you going to put all that power down in a much lighter car?

I suspect andy09xrs has that answer but, i'd like to see it done. Cept I haven't the know how or the money at the moment haha.

well traction control is on all our 10th gen corollas loll!(wider tires dunno!)

and dont think that because it fits in a camry it will in a corolla the engine mounts are never the same place on each engine and never on the same place in the engine bay! custom work ahead :S

unless custom made bracketery !

If you ordered the mounts/brackets/axles for a ZRE156 Blade Master, I bet they'd be pretty close to mount up to a North American spec ZRE142/AZE141.

thats quite something that can be done easily via internet, just need pics of both parts and engine bay !

but the real problem is to put this power to the ground... my venza v6 awd burns alot on first so with a lighter corolla and FWD .... goshh lsd and big slicks but clearance is a issue... spacers on wheels and larger fenders ?
