for my 2010 s 5spd its around 115-120....i know i guy at toyota has the same car and he made a jumper or something and he dumped the speedo over 140
i think you answered your own question here. if u seen the guy at toyota do it with the same car, then I would probably bet there's a way considering the guy at toyota did it.

i dont know how he made it or anything i was wondering if anyone has gone faster than the 115-120 mark and how they did it
Why do you need to go more than 120 mph in a Corolla?

i was wondering if there was any way to over ride the governor
It will be tough and it will take a large number of us to do it. However, with good planning and enough guns and ammo, we should be able to override the governor.

i went 125ish and the governor didnt kickin yet. but im too scared to do it when theres traffic. ill try again when i have open road. i heard the governor kicks in at 130-132 although i might be wrong.

I don't believe that 132 HP is enough to push the Corolla through the wind at much over 120mph. It takes a lot more power to go faster at those speeds.

If you want to go fast, go to a freaking track. Remember that you are taking (unnecessary) risks both for yourself and for other drivers who might end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Please don't take my life in your hands.

I highly doubt that was really the case since the car has a governor that kicks in at 115.
Even the XRS is limited to 133mph. All tested by Car and Driver.
Your speedometer accuracy was probably way off at those speeds causing a false reading.
