Broken Glove Box

Hi,

Yesterday my glove box began to open much more "forcefully" than usual. Typically there's some resistance, but now it just clunks open as soon as I pull the latch. After some investigating, I noticed that this piece on the right side is loose:

It doesn't appear broken, but I don't know where it's supposed to connect or how to get behind the glove box to fix it. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thats how you replace your cabin air filter. You remove that stay to pull down the glove box. If it was replaced by the dealer or someone else i would take it back in case it was broken. Otherwise i would try to snap it back on like how it is supposed to.

Oh man, thank you!

I had my 20,000 mile service done yesterday and it looks like they detached the wrong end and must've forgotten to reattach it. Hopefully I did it correctly.
