ECU went "bad", anyone else?

Had to have the Rolla towed in last week. they had it fixed by afternoon, but still an inconvenience, for a one year old car such an odd occurance for anycar:

The main computer was jacked somehow(no clue how, the car ran fine with no issues what so ever)when it was turned off and put in the garage, but the next morning it was just cranking, they had to "reprogram"(I guess re flash it) and it was fine afterword...and for some reason my receipt also has "EFI cleaner" on it....but with no charge.........I know this failure isn't very common in general, but has anyone else have this happen?

I haven't been on the forums in a while, did I miss something about this?

i had my harness replaced after being checked by toyota, it was causing my car to idle really rough, low rpms and loss of power at certain times. my dealer checked in with toyota and told me its either the ECU or the harness. apparently this ECU (used also on matrix) has had some issues on other cars and the service manager told me that i had the good ECU and its the harness thats causing it (something about an open circuit). anyway, work was done under warranty and car is running without problems.
