What types of mods can i do with out voiding warranty??
I am a new Corolla Xrs 2010 owner and i am looking to do some mods on it... but the only thing is i do not want void the warranty! So please tell me any suggestion u guys may have on the projects that i can start on . Oh also if some one can direct me to where i can find the documentation of what the full warranty covers that would be great!
Just look at the different thread mods. Most everything being done will not affect the warranty unless the mod can be proven to have caused the problem.

There should be an owner warranty booklet included with your owner's manual in your car that has your complete warranty info. If it's not there then contact the dealer who sold you your Corolla and they'll provide you with one.
BTW, to Toyota Nation!

+1 when a problem occurs revert to stock if you arent sure if that was the cause of the problem.
will not void, if they do the install, and agree to it. ie. intake, and other things.
Not the case here in North America. You don't have to get the parts installed at the dealer and for sure you don't have to get a green light from them. You can install whatever you want to the car, the dealer doesn't have the power to void your warranty, unless they can prove the aftermarket parts you installed to the car is the direct cause of the damage. It is under the law.

+1 boy i love american laws. just the other day i was getting my oil changed and the service manager was telling me how my HIDs were illegal on the street. I told him I was getting RX projectors when i find a deal and asked him if that void the warrenty. He said only if the electrical is messed up due to anything i did. I have enough electrical knowledge to not blow up my car.
I am probably going to start with tints, interior lights, after market hid head lights .... then go on to intake and lowering ... I was looking at some of the other threads showing how to change the dash leds , now if i was to do that does it void? i really do not lie the orange color led
