Canada 2010 Corolla Wind Noise

Or that's what we're assuming it is. My wife & I bought a 2010 Corolla CE a little over a month ago. When we're on the highway we're hearing some sort of noise. Hard to describe the noise in words but it's kind of a choppy wind sound (I know, description makes no sense). Anyway, I did some searching on the forums here & had no luck so I'm asking if anyone has experienced anything like this. Also, I was sitting in the backseat for the first time & it seems the noise from the exhaust was m louder than in my 07 Corolla. I never noticed it being loud in thw 2010 before, just when I was in the back seat. Is it possible there is less noise reduction between the trunk & backseat in the new model?

If you put down the rear windows at highway speed you can get that choppy wind or buffeting. Solution-dont do that.

Don't do it, it's a trap!

If you roll both back windows down and drive 66 mph while listening to Johnny Dollar on XM old time radio, a portal to hell will open.

The weather tech vent visors stop this btw

Funny story, the tech at the dealership said the vent visors would only make the noise worse. He said because the newer Corollas are more rounded, there is more wind noise. I would think that rounder would be better for aerodynamics..
