i have noticed lately that when i am going in reverse for like a few feet then i would brake, the feeling of the brake seems very hard compared to braking when the car is in a forward motion. anyone with the same experience? my 09 corolla was recalled for that brake fix that toyota did. at any rate, i have scheduled a brake checkup on friday. the service guy on the phone seemed like he is wondering why that would happen. i just hope it is not a big problem. maybe some brake adjustment could fix it easily.

Recently i brought my rolla in for hard braking in the forward motion and squeeking noises. all they did was clean my brakes and it went fine from there,

mine is the opposite of your recent situation. forward motion braking is so fine. reverse braking feels very hard. the pedal doesnt have that much play. it did not happen before. i only noticed it this very past week.
