Stereo Replacement

Hi all, I just bought the Sosche wiring harness and mounting bracket to replace my headunit, what about the radio? i havent ripped the dash apart yet, but do i need a adaptor for the radio as well? thanks in advance.

By mounting bracket you mean the plastic cover that makes the radio fit into the dash with out having a gap correct (actually usually called a dash kit)?

You *should* be able to use the metal mounting bracket on our factory radio on your aftermarket radio.

I haven't installed anything but an eonon unit in 10th gens but I'm pretty sure you should be all set.

what you would need is a single din or double din dash kit and wiring harness(unless you do alittle ghetto wiring). you probably have the sosche set already but im not sure because you talk about "mounting brackets" only.

im sorry, my vocabulary sucked in my initial post. I got the whole wiring harness and radio install ok, i was refering to the radio antenna, do i need an adaptor for it for an aftermarket headunit? thanks

You have your original wires, and then the wiring harness should basically be the "adapter" from your original wires to your new aftermarket radio.
