Flash After Market HU

I feel like I am a technical person (considering I own a tech consulting firm) and have experience with alot fo operating systems and running hacks (i.e. running YellowDog Linux on PS3).

But I cannot find anything about flashing a HU that has Windows CE to run Centrafuse or some other type of GUI on the HU.

Like the after market Eonon HU they had to flash that GUI on there somehow?!?! Can it be flashed to run some other interface like Centrafuse? Or HU that runs on Windows CE can you exit to desktop?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I have no idea what an 'HU' is. Searched this forum for the term and got no hits. Anybody explain it to me? I sure as hell hope we don't have WindowsCE running on our Electronic Control Modules!

HU = Head Unit. AKA the radio.
