Self-Serve Car Wash question

Hi Guys. Kind of a stupid question here but I wanted to ask. I use a self-serve car wash especially in the winter to spray the underbody of all the salt and dirt. I noticed today that when I'm reaching under there, spraying back and forth, the spray wand sometimes hits the underbody on the part of the frame that dips below a little bit. Question is, is that bad for that part of the car? It doesn't hit hard, but if something could be damaged, I'll stop washing it that way. Appreciate your advice.

Wash away man, at 70mph in the rain what do you think happens under there.
I would bet category 1 hurricane.

Thanks. I was talking about sometimes the wand itself, not the water brushes up against the underbody and wondered if it's fragile under there.

haha no, if your little car wash wand is hitting it, no problem.... think about all the rocks and stuff that you run over that hit that part!

Do it the MONK way.

1. Buy a heavy duty floor jack.
2. Buy a kids water-gun.
3. Use the jack to lift the car and the gun to clean.
