Glove Box Door

The right windshield wiper in my '09 Corolla began to make a "thumping" noise
when the wiper reached it's extreme travel in the lower right corner of the
windshield. The wiper itself was not striking anything on the windshield so it
became apparent that the linkage in front of the glove box might be the source of the noise.
Ordinarily, removal of the glove box door would be straight forward and the
items holding it in place are fairly visible. But they're not.
I would appreciate it very much if anyone on the Forum who has removed
their glove box door would give their tips on it's removal with causing any
unintended damage.

Thanks

Jack

The wipers are mounted outside the cabin. There is no need to remove your glove box.

Pull off the wiper arms and remove the cowl, it will allow full access to the wiper linkage.

Glad you got it fixed, but what kind of car have you had that has the wiper linkage inside the cabin and not the engine bay?
