USA San Francisco 2009 corolla 5mt

5% tint in rear 30% in front, vent visors, 35w HID 6300K.

Hey fellas, I was wondering if anyone knew how to get aggressive wheel fitments on an 09 corolla without rubbing. Meaning, would anyone have any clue as to what size tires i could run on my 2009 corolla. If anyone has any knowledge whatsoever about this subject, please get at me. I <3 that hella flush look like on cars.

THANKS in advance and Aloha to all

to the nation!

I'll move your thread over to the Corolla forum so the members there can chime in about your questions. Also, you might want to use that forum's search tool to look for past threads on the same subjects.

Its not the size of the tires you really want to be concerned with, as you will likely want to keep the diameter of the wheel+tire the same. What you really want to be concerned with is the width of the wheel and the offset along with how low you plan to drop.

You would want to at least start with a 17 or 18x8 +35 and go from there. You can definitely go wider than that in the back (9.5 might be "hellaflush approved") but there are only a few options and it gets expensive quick.

Unless your wheel budget is $2k+, you are best off sticking to Enkei, Rota, or Konig. They all offer wheels in those sizes for right atounr 1,000

From what I've seen... it seems that an 18x9 +35 should put you at flush with the fenders.
If you want hellaflush with a lil bit of poke, then 18x9.5 +35 (or +30 if you want to roll your fenders)

Or you can even get 19s if you want.

Tire sizes you can play around with a bit.

Yeah I think it didn't rub. We didn't have the tires to fit with the rims so we couldn't drop the car but it shouldn't rub. If you went with 17x8.5 with +20 offset, your car might be hellaflush. I think a +30 might work well with your car if you don't want it to be hellaflush

he should be tucking with maybe 5mm or less gap but he does have coilovers which are height adjustable.

Well it's nice to see my car is so known. Haha. Well I was gonna buy those rims for 550. But I didn't have money at the time so he sold it. I would mind getting the same wheel size for that hellaflush look but I don't want my mpg to decrease for having a heavy wheel

u wouldnt mind having a 17x8.5 20+? or the 18x9 35+? i think da 20 offset makes up for da 9 since its a 8.5 haha ima stretch my tires too but not a lot maybe idk haha

Getting the 18x9.5. That would be crazy for the corolla. Probably the fattest wheel for corollas. But I am gonna get 17x8 with +19 all around. That would already be flush for my car and I could make it look nicer with my coils and camber plates
