load carrying capacity decreased?

Hi, I was detailing the car the other day and noticed and interesting sticker on the door jamb on the drivers door.




It says that the load carrying capacity of the car has been reduced by 200 pounds due to modifications made to the vehicle.


Ive asked my dealer about it before, was told Id get a call back but have not heard anything from them. Id rather avoid the dealerships all together cause I dont really trust the ones close to me.

Any ideas on what this is about? The car appears stock to me, but was purchased used.

I can provide the VIN if it will help.

mine has that too but I think it says 12lbs. My rolla is just a stock S w/a moon roof. I thought the body skirt/weight of the moon roof would cause that but I don't know. I never asked either. My mom has a '09 Rav4 Limited w/leather, JBL, moonroof, the whole shabang and she has that sticker too.

mine 2010 LE also has this sticker, the capacity was reduced by 5 lb...
