Canada Satellite Question

I just want to see if anyone knows if this kit can be installed and connected in the trunk of a base model 2010 corolla. http://www.tss-radio.com/toyota-lexu...ge-p-5709.html
I've seen some discussion that says yes, but wanted to double check. Also can I simply splice into the existing Sat antennae?

Thanks a bunch.

It will work (plug-n-play) except for the antenna's connection. You can either splice or purchase an adapter for the antenna connection.

Yeah, all you will need to do is splice the wires, as I don't reccomend people buying a $70 adapter to do the same thing.

If you already have XM installed, you could switch your account over. Same programming at this point.

I soldered the two wires together, I'm not sure if a tape job would work very well. It was pretty easy to do, actually ...
