knocking sound in front portion of car when car is in Reverse.

What could be wrong with my Corolla?

When the car is moving reverse mode, then steering wheel in either left or right direction, I ll hear "tok" sound when ever I depress on brake pedal.

Sound comes out only when in reverse mode, not when in D mode.

No expert, but it sure sounds like normal play in the front brake pads. The pads reset themselves when in reverse. My 2004 Rav makes the same noise when braking in reverse. Not a concern.
Hope this helps

the first depress has loud "tok" sound and it gets weaker then weaker, the sound never stops as long as you're in R mode and wheels turned.

Actually, this is first time I encountered something like this, our previous corolla and current camry doesn't have any strange sound.

By the way, I notice only the left side is producing the annoying sound.
