New Toyota Owner

I just traded my Diesel Ram for a new Corolla. I know I wanna lower it and put some into performance like a intake a muffler n headers. I don't wanna put a gold mine into it so what are some good alternatives to dropping money on expensive springs n such? Good brands?

Congrats on your new car! You probably got an awesome deal on it right now. I've had mine since December '08 and it's been nothing but fantastic.

to TN!

As far as springs go it just depends on how much of a drop you want. Do a search and you will find all kinds of opinions & pictures of different drops. I have an 09 S with TRD springs which is a mild drop but I like it. The final drop was .75" on the front & 1.75" on the rear.
