Hello everyone, just want to thank beforehand anyone that has shared any info with me thus far, I have not officially introduced myself, so quickly would like to give a brief intro, Name is Eric from NYC , Brooklyn
..now living in Fort Lauderdale/ Miami area, 27 and a proud owner of a Black Corolla S auto
, as the rest , wanted manual but dealer did not have and needed a car asap
, I purchased my car brand new with only 3 miles
on it last year Jan 2009, been about 1 year and couple months and love everyminute of my rolla
, first car ever ..... since in nyc there was never really a need with subways all over. With monthly expenses and paying for college, i dont have a huge budget for mods, but so far i have done HIDs (retrofit soon) sorry guys, i am conscious of the glare i might be causing, not really bad tho...tested it out driving in someone elses car while friend drove my corolla with hids on at night, really minimum since when we installed it made it point downward as much as one possibly can
, besides that i have 5% tints all around except windshield (everyone in south florida has it, cops dont stress it much
) and swap all car lights for bright white LEDs ( maplights, license plate lights, reverse lights, trunk lights
) really clean look, next up are lowering springs maybe Tein S or Tein H not too sure yet
..i like the more lowered look, also LED tailights
, like the red ones better, look more like OEM, might smoke those lightly after recieving them
, dont like the ones that come smoked already
from ebay that much for my personal taste, also Takeda intake(supposedly reported to increase 4HP and 12 lbs of torque) not too sure but i think one would feel the difference in 12lbs torque

...also thinking on added struts and sways..to better the handling always helps, then eventually a 7inch indash touch radio...really like that enreon radio i seen on some post
...i did see the OEM one on ebay brand new for like 400 to 600 bucks, and a few small mods here and there all in due time, any suggestions and opinions welcomed, feel free to provide some input and share ideas, hopefully soon i can get some heads for a meet for the south florida area, really excited to see that happen
Now on to the small inquiry i have, pardon me if there is already a thread on this, but i tried searching and found nothing specifically for our 10th gen corollas, what im interested in doing is changing my side mirrors on the corolla to have them similar to the scion tc ones, with the turning lights on them, i personally like that look and would love to do that mod, i have looked on ebay and google, all i have found are cheap sticker like leds that stick on to current mirrors, disgusting in my opinion ...sorry i thought i was a joke when i saw that
, another i did see and didnt look to bad were ones that had the turning light flicker on the actual mirror like the lincoln navigator ( of course not that big, more sportier look)
anyways my questions would be, can one use the TC mirrors and wire them to work for our corollas or what options are out there if any? again sorry if this was already posted, Thanks in advance and hope to hear back from some of you guys with replies, cheers!
