Exclamation Stock LCD Messup

So today I got into the car, started it and there goes the LCD screen
where it shows my music etc. I got the 09 corolla with the stock audio and
the small screen on the console was showing triangles, squares and lines.

WTF?? Is this a surge or something happened?

FIX: I did get rid of it.
Turn of your car.
Unplug any device thats in the aux input
press brake a couple times (not sure if this affects it)
and turn back on
walla it worked back to normal

weird thing is, first time this happened with my ipod being pluged into the aux
every other time it was fine

any other suggestgions what could of caused the problem???

Hmmm, this used to happen to me a lot during the summer when i would park outside for several hours. I think the LCD's overheat or something. However, after driving for a couple minutes the screen would always return to normal if the A/C was on.

On a side note, if u have the controls on ur steering wheel, the buttons still work on there so you can cycle through ur presets and volume control if you rlly need to.

This happened to me as well. It was bad and then it just started scratching all my cds. I took it into the dealership and they replaced it for free.

Well I dont use Cd's so that doesnt matter to me cause its either radio or ipod.

Now I am thinking of switching the POS to a Nav type stereo.
Now what do you guys suggest are the best looking ones
that look preety stock too.
I dont want anything overly fancy.

There are a few aftermatkets that look OEM, but I can't think of the brands ATM. They've been posted about numerous times though. I got a Pioneer Premier AVIC-F90BT for my car.
