Electric trubocharger

NO! They don't work very well. Don't waste your $$$ on this scam! It is just a fancy fan that blows air at a constant rate and NOT to the demand of the engine. Garbage.

Electric superchargers are like Hot Pockets.

Open the package, and dump it in the toilet.

With those specs, its complete garbage, you wont achieve much with a Pr of 1.45 and it draws up to 350 amps, when your original amps is capable of max 100amps.

Regular turbo achieve PR of 3 and up to 7 with specialized alloys..pressure ratios are limitied to physical material properties
Specification Summary

Maximum Pressure Ratio 1.45 Maximum Speed 70,000rpm Time to Maximum Speed <350ms Peak Shaft Power 1.8kW Current Draw - Idle 1.5 Amps Current Draw - Acceleration 350 Amps Current Draw - Steady State 220 Amps

the only way to get instant boost is to drive the compressor with a electric motor. the issue with the setup would be providing the electric power needed to do the work of compressing the air. electric is generated by the motor, motor drives electric generator, its a parasitic setup...... however, it can spool instantaneously!

not really sure whats in that link, but electric "things" can do things faster. the pic in the link is a turbo compressor, not a roots or whipple s/c type. if it were for racing you could power it using a seperate hefty battery so it would not be parasitic, you're just draggin some extra weight, etc.

If it's too good to be true, then it probably is.

Those don't work.
