happened to me before on a really cold weather... after my car warmed up never happened again so i didn't bring it in... its been 2 years already too! lol
My display went out yesterday too...i still would change the station, sound and everything but after tapping the screen multiple times the display came back up...should i bring the car in for warranty (i just went there 2 days ago to have the trunk trim bezel replace under warranty)...or should i wait until the display goes out again and bring it into the dealership then?

have had this happening a few times recently; sometimes lcd goes boxy, sometimes changing the station causes H/U to spit the disc and shut off.
had it in for an oil change this week and told the writer about it; she seemed to know all about it (i said i was having issues with the stereo, she asked if the screen turns into hieroglyphics without any further prompt from me), but looking at my ticket after, she made no mention of it to the tech. said i had to bring it in when it happened. i had a cellphone shot of the boxy lcd, but she didnt care to see it.
armed with the tsb number now, ill can go back and request a replacement. thanks!
