well to be honest with you i don't think it would be a good idea to install a turbo kit on a corolla even though it is a xrs because corollas where never design to be racing cars, but if you have the money and the tools or professionals to upgrade your car you should definitely do it because well i have a friend who has a turbo xrs 2009 and to tell you the truth it freaking awesome, but then again he almost replace ever part of his car in terms o wheels, brakes, springs, sway bars, inter cooler, tubes, ect, it up to you man, but if you do it post some pic and stats of how your car improve
talk to anyone who knows about turbo set ups.
Custom vs ebay ...
ebay kits are known to be crap, and known to crap out very early costing more to fix it in the long run, and after spending all that $$ you still have a crappy kit.
Do it right the first time, or dont do it at all.
It is a lot of money, but in terms of a turbo set up, its a very cheap get. You get what you pay for.
thanks guys, appreciate all the comments. i am not buying this right now, neither am i planning on doing this currently, but since i came across it thought i'd just put it up and see what makes this good/bad.
can someone tell me what parts mentioned on this kit are not good? just curious to know...
The picture only shows all the parts, to me it looks just like others universal kits on ebay. Contact the company for a picture which the kit is installed on the car....

Tru dat!
Although, there are a LOT of old civics in our sister car club that have ebay turbo's. Let me paint a picture for you real quick: The civics are old, have dents all over, mis matched body panels, no interior, graffiit all over, a b18 with an ebay turbo with no intake and no downpipe. These cars push over 340hp at the wheels, weigh about 2000lbs, and will kill just about anything on the road.
Are their cars fast: Yes
Will they last more than 6 months: Hell no (when an engine blows they just go buy another for $600 and slap it in and do it all over )
I'd go custom and run under 8lbs of boost if you want any reliability out of the car while still maintaining decent mpg and getting a nice little kick under the hood.
You could always get the kit as a starting point, but I'd sell the turbo and get a real one lol. Also the pipes would have to be custom fit, you'd need better wastegate and bov, bigger injectors, some sort of 1:1 FMU along with an adjustable FPR. That should do it
To me it could be used as a good starting point, keep the boost down & you can upgrade some of the parts to better quality units & still save some money.

well i understand all the comments , but my question still remains.....which part mentioned in that list under that kit is cheap or faulty ? everyone just says the kit is useless and what not, which is fine by me, i am not getting it and i know u get what you pay for..... but i really wanna know what makes this kit bad.....is the t3/t4 turbo bad ? the intercooler bad? piping ? exhaust manifold ??? which one
its all a learning process for me, and i need opinions from experienced people on this forum to tell me about it, something other than the usual wont work thing....thanks!
