Just traded in my 2010 Civic for a 2010 Corolla S. IMO the reviews that say the Civic is better are WAY off. Love my car. Got the black, which is very difficult to keep clean. But blacked and removed badges. Looks good. Love my Car. Gets blown around in the wind a bit.
I was wondering if anybody felt the Clutch feels a bit odd as compared to most cars? Although I've adjusted pretty well I was curious if anyone agreed.
So Far I have just put a K&n typhoon intake in.
Thinking of bumping up the exhaust to 2.5 with a magnaflow muffler and cat. My father owns an exhaust shop, so free to me.But he says the stock cat on it should be a pretty good cat Anybody have a sound clip with a similar set up?
Was also thinking headers, but im not sure how hard the install is. Being a toyota I would imagine fairly simple.
Like the black TRD rims and if anybody has them on a black S pics please?

There aren't any headers available in the market for the 1.8L engine yet....we are all waiting for it too. In terms of exhaust, here is my setup, I keep the piping to 2" with a magnaflow universal muffler #11264 with a magnaflow tip on it. In the video, I have a weapon-R intake installed as well. Visit my car domain page for some of the mods that I did to my S to get some ideas for modification. The 1.8L engine is a reverse header layout, so it will be a little more difficult to install a header than the 2.4L which has the header in the front, but still, it won't be too hard. By the way, welcome to the forum.

Just spoke to my father again, he said to keep it 2 inch also so im sure i will. Dont want anything too loud as im from NH and theyre pretty picky here. So did you leave the stock cat on? I was told it has a high flow cat on it which should be left on. Not sure If my dad is just being cheap not wanting to give me a cat or if he means it.
Surprised with the quick and friendly responses. Love this place already.
My first toyota and I may become a lifelong owner already. Screw the recalls toyota makes a great car and have for years all cars have recalls somewhere along the line
I have never heard any issues of the Cats, should be fine. I will be perusing a Magnaflow muffler with magnaflow tip as well and plan on leaving stock cat.
Any way you dad gets us the hook-ups on muffler?
Glad to have you aboard!

Sure. Can never have too many clips. Kinda excited for my exhaust.
Lowell, that's pretty close actually! I don't mean to impose, but how much do you think it would cost me for parts and install at his shop (With a TN hookup of course)

Depends on what it is. Let me know and Ill be more than happy to ask.
I'm actually not sure what his costs are compared to other places, I have done all my work there myself with his costs. Nor am I sure how much he could knock off for the hookup if any. Hes usually pretty reasonable with my friends that he knows. Like I said, more than happy to ask for you.
