I would love to try that but I have the python remote so I doubt that it works for me

Vipersmart start is just a remote start No security. That said I've seen it in action (since I install them). Viper has a list on their website of what units it works with. They work great never had one come back yet.

do you still have to do the bypass that leaves the key behind the dash to bypass the emmobilizer?

Well it depends on the car. Some cars with immobilizers have to use a physical key to do the remote start. Some can use a bypass module which can cost anywhere from 50-150$.

Go there to find the correct module. Usually PKALL can be used in most vehicles.

i got the remote start on my car. im using the expresskit. i dont remember the model number for it. but the cover of the box was red. if anyone was wondering
