digi vs analog speedo

ok, so at cruise 80mph on my needle speedo, the avg mph says 76mph (reset the avg mph while at cruise). wondering what non-XRS models read (perhaps due to the wheel size diff), or are these cars purposely set to read +4 on the needle speedo?

Mine reads +2 mph, hook up your GPS at the same time & see what that says. On the plus side, if you are going +5 mph over the speed limit you don't have to worry about getting pulled over.
