FM reception

Dear friends, the stations in Mauritius broadcast FM on 88 - 108 MHz. However, my car can receive only 77 - 90 MHz. What should I do. Any help most welcome! thanks!!!

First of all, I wish I lived where you do. Secondly, sounds like in your country, they use the same frequency spectrum as we do here in North America, but your radio is configured to use a European frequency spectrum. I would ask if your local dealership could replace your radio with a N. American spec one.

Vous pouvez vouloir demander si quelqu'un dessus ici permutera là la radio avec le vôtre s'ils se sont déplacés récemment.

Hi thank u very much for yr reply. the frequency range provided in the car is that used in Japan. I have already placed a modulator and frequency extender, but i believe the panel antena of the windshield is not strong enough to capture the waves. As for linving, I find the grass at yr place even greener than here in mauritius. Plz let me know if there is anything more. Thanks and take care!

Cela explique pourquoi la radio n'est pas correcte pour votre pays alors, puisqu'elle a été importée du Japon
