defroster smelling bad?

hey. so has anyone turned on their defroster and put it on max and started smelling some weird and nasty smelling coming from your vents? does anyone know what this is? if so how do you fix it to make it not smell anymore. thanks

there's a TSB for that. take it to the dealer, they'll fix it.

Would they have to check under the hood? Because I have my weapon r intake installed and it wouldn't be covered under warranty

The smell has nothing to do with the Intake so it shouldn't be a problem with warranty!!

Once again, installing aftermarket parts won't void your warranty, it is under the law. Your warranty is void only if you bring in your car for a fix under the warranty but the dealer prove the installed aftermarket parts has direct relationship towards the damage.

So from what I here the whole defroster thing wouldn't have anything to do with my aftermarket parts and they would be able to make a simple fix to it?
