Hey guys, after hours of sweat and tears...my S is finally lowered with S tech. It looks awesome. In terms of scrapping, the exhaust scraps every time when I go over a speed bump, but not on the front bumper. I guess I just have to go over the speed bump as slow as I can and maybe I should wrap my exhaust with exhaust wrapping to give it some extra protection, any suggestion guys?
Do you have the scrapping exhaust problem with your car? I am thinking since you have larger rims....will that be any better in terms of ground clearance?
I did cut my bump stop with TEIN suggestion for the 9th Gen....1.6" in the front and 0.6" in the back. My buddy told me I have to cut them, otherwise it will bottom out easy and put extra stress on the struts.
I have S techs to and my exhaust scrapes well no the canister itself but the exhaust piping in the middle of the car is what scrapes.
Yup that's the part....coz it is the lowest point on the car.....so I am wondering whether I should exhaust wrap that section to give it a little more protection if it is going to scrape anyways.
No i don't think you should waste your money on that. I've had mine dropped for 3 months already i believe and i went under my car not to long ago and the piping looked perfectly fine. Just go really slow and sideways and you won't hit.

hey how about taking it back to ABC muffler and tell them whats happening, maybe they can install a thin metal plate right below it, because you are fine for the summer since you can see the roads, but in winter it might be an issue, specially with our edmonton roads.
