Ventvisors: Weathertech vs. AVS

AVS imitates JDM ventvisor's looks (from what I've read so far). Need pics to confirm. Isn't as curved as weathertech's.

At 65 bucks AVS is almost half priced.

Anyone with AVS want to share some pics for comparison? I know how Weathertech's look like, they match curves well on the 10th gen.

"AVS Ventvisor Window Deflectors install easily with strong 3M acrylic foam tape above and around the windows. It's a quick no-drill installation that makes a perfectly snug and secure fit."

I have heard horror stories about any stick on vents. Not to mention they stick out MUCH further and are not nearly as slick looking.

I absolutely LOVE my WT's

I love my WTs and they were well worth the money.

I would never put adhesive on the outside of my car, ESPECIALLY foam tape. It's a pain to remove. Also, as strong as they say the adhesive is, those visors can and do fly off at highway speeds. They also stick out farther than in-channel visors. The WTs are very low profile.

Save up for the Weathertech ones. You won't regret it.

AVS does not go down to window sill around side mirror. I have them. On opening even 1", lets rain in. Right onto the window switches on door's armrest. Weathertech's goes down all the way.

I have weathertech on the corolla and absolutely love them.

AVS makes a stick on and an In channel for the Tundra. See if they have both for the Corolla.

I have AVS Inchannel on the Tundra and by comparison I would buy the Weathertech again. They do cost a lot more.

I only bought the AVS because another Tundra member was shipped them by mistake. They sent RC version and he had the Crewmax. I got them for 25 bucks shipped to my door and I am satisfied.

Weathertech all the way. They work great and look good too. I think they're well worth it.

You get what you pay for! I'll never buy any vents that apply with double sided tape again.
