Yes the silver one is for 2009-2010 XRS and 2010 USA S. The black is for all other models.

The darker one (sorta) matches my 09 S.

The fitment is great compared to other dash kits, but the color is slightly off. But as others have said, you'll be looking at your new HU more than the dash kit, especially if you're going with a double-din.

My vote is for the American International, had the Scosche but didn't like the colour/texture match.

sienna1, I'm going to have to disagree with you. Perhaps you bought the wrong color, because there are two dash kits for the 2009-2010 corolla. I just installed my scoche dash kit and I must say it looks amazing. The American intl one that came with my crutchfield one is really ugly.

Got the Black Scosche Kit for my 09 Corolla "S" (Black trim), the colour/texture definitely didn't match. See my photo gallery why I opted for the American International. But that being said, get the one that suits your taste. After spending a few hundred on a stereo, the cost of the kits shouldn't stop you from trying to find one that to your likings.
