All you had to do was put your factory blades back on & buy new wiper inserts. No need to buy an entire new wiper blade.
I washed Silvia & my Prius today. It was 50F and sunny, what a great day.
I found the oem replacement inserts really sucked. I only got like 3 months out of them on my Lexus, if I recall correctly I paid $3.50 per insert. I had much better luck using aftermarket wipers. I tried to find aftermarket inserts but Toyota seems to use a odd size.

I found the opposite - aftermarket blades never seemed to work well in my old car and my OEM inserts last around a year or so and they're a lot cheaper than replacing the whole blade. Plus, the "aerodynamic" trim on the OEM wipers looks cool

hit & miss maybe. i saved the oem wipers. still looking for good inserts, etc.
