Amsoil Dual Remote By-Pass question.

Well this is my first post here so hello everyone.
I have a 2010 Corolla S and I am planning on installing this http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/bf.aspx
But I have two problems.
1st I have never installed one of these on a car with an internal oil filter. Does anyone have any experience with this? Or is there something different I need to do.
2nd If I can do this, does anyone know the thread size that the Corolla uses?

Thanks for the help.

Firstly, to TN !!

Second, while still under warranty...it would certainly cause a conflict if you had an issue. This setup is complete overkill for these cars. With a cartridge filter it would be a hassle to set up and the gains would be minute at best with such a small sump. The Corolla has a tough tight engine.

Best advice, change out factory fill at 1000miles, keep up with regularly scheduled maintenance until warranty is up. Meanwhile, read up on bypass systems and get the opinion from http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums...oard=34&page=1 and learn about what you are inquiring to see if its really worth it. Then look ever the rest of the site and learn all you can about how great modern oils protect engines these days

Based on personal experience on using them on a Dodge Dakota and a Oldsmobile 88 I saw 100,000+ life on the oil (with filters being changed thus some new oil being added) based on what oil analysis said. On the 2 vehicles I used them on I also saw a slight increase in mpg and power so I figured I would install it on the corolla as well if it wasnt to much hassle.
