child saftey lock

My brother's kids were sitting in the back seat, so I put the child lock on both back doors.

I tried to take the child lock off. The back left door latch went straight up. But the back right door latch seems to be stuck. It wont go back up.

I have a 2010 Corolla S.

What should I do?

Make sure all four doors are unlocked, then open and close that door again to be sure it's really unlocked, then try that lever again.

If that doesn't fix it, take it to the dealer and request it be treated as a warranty claim, because surely that'd be covered under the "bumper to bumper" stuff.

Sounds like a good plan!

Also, pull on the outside handle as you are lifting the latch up.
