TWM Shifter and Royal Purple fluid

I know theres already a thread on the shifter alone but this is more in depth.

Has anyone installed it yet and does the arm rest get in the way making it awkward?

How much of a difference do the bushings make?

I was also thinking of switching to royal purple fluid. Anybody else switch the fluid and feel that its worth it? Its not too Expensive.
How many quarts will my S (5 speed) take in order to fill?

I have the TWM SS with the bushings and the bushings definitely make a difference, the gear shifts right into place, it's not mushy anymore. I never found any issues with the arm rest either as that was something I was a bit worried about.

You're thinking RP for tranny fluid or motor? I have some RP motor oil at home that I'm debating putting in the car as well.

type of oil you use shouldn't affect the warranty

as with any other "modification" to the car, toyota would have to PROVE (not just blame) that the use of non-oem fluid caused the need for warranty work.

I was thinking of using the RP tranny fluid.
Does anyone out there also the RP motor oil is worth it too?
I know better fluids = smoother performance in most cases.
Ive seen some sites say the tranny fluid will add more HP to the wheels and I know that wouldnt happen. But im sure it will shift smoother and last longer.
Im a firm believer in you get what you pay for
