Fast Turn Signals? HELP!

So just today I changed my LED tail light's original turn signal bulb to an led bulb which is this one ( http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/B...88382-1-2.html ). When I tried using the signal lights the blinks became 5x faster.. What causes the turn signals to blink faster? Is there any way to put back my turn signal's blink to normal pace?

Thankss alot!!!

Check to see all the lights are working, one of them might have burnt out. Also check the fuses.

All the lights are working fine. The fuses are also good. Is there any other reason why this happens?

I tried putting back the original Bulb on and it blinked in a normal pace. Changed it again with the LED one it blinked faster.. Hmm..

i read about this from somewhere. it has nothing to do with the fuses. the lights are working but because the led uses such low power from the car. i guess it blinks faster to compensate from the higher power received. what you need i think is a relay to slow it down. im not sure which one however i know if you do a search about it. you will find it.

I got the solution. I need to get those Load resistor kits. I got 1 from v-leds

Glad that you find the solution.
But this resistor kit will bring the overall electrical power consumption of the resistor and the v-leds back to that of the stock bulbs.
If you change the flashing unit to a solid-state flashing unit, then the resistor kit is not required.

they are called hyper blinkers. they are VERY bad for the lifespan of your turn signals. buy this asap and install it in. http://www.v-leds.com/Load-Resistors/c343525-1-2/ i forget which one is the one you need though :/

you could buy load resistors or just get a led flasher relay which doesnt involve cutting or tapping wires.

i think one of these would be better than some load resistors. but i have no clue what size or type you would need.

I have a 1156 led bulb in my rear turn signals and 3157 led switchbacks turn signals in the front.

you need to find out which electronic led relay replaces/fits in the oem denso flasher relay slot. replace the oem flasher relay with the led flasher relay and your hyper blinking will go back to normal.

I have tried locating the OEM flasher relay by opening up the steering compartment, but I was not able to find it. I have a LED flasher unit from V-LEDS and I'm waiting to put it on and swap out my turn signals for leds.. anyone knows how to locate the stock flasher relay?
