Removing "Corolla" from back of car

Has anyone removed the "Corolla" letters from the back of their car, while just leaving the "XRS" or "S" on?

Just wondering how you would go about doing that...Dont want to screw up the paint.

Thanks!

Just use a hairdryer or heat gun and warm the area before flossing.

Follow up with some Goo gone or cleaner wax to remove any leftover residue.

A search would reveal a number of threads on this.

I did this to my 8th gen using dental floss and goo gone. I just went out on a hot day, and 'flossed' behind the badge. Then after letting the goo gone sit for a couple minutes, I peeled off the residue with my fingers. Any leftover dirt, I used simple green to remove.

I took both of mine off. I dont really care to show off that I have an S. I pretend I have an XRS with a smaller engine (for weight reduction ) and rear performance drum brakes.

I also took off the one on the front grille, but plan on putting a TRD emblem in its place.

I was curious about this as well.
I was debating on marking where the emblems were also, just in case i needed to put it back.

Well, neither did RBK nor I start a new thread about our questions on debadging the emblems. Since someone had started this thread on how to debadge the "Corolla" emblem, we were just wondering if people debadged the "S" emblem as well. Our questions were under the same subject.
