I/P needles.

I recently made my tach lights red with blue and red warning lights and am not overly happy with the red needles on red tachs.
I noticed that the needles are only red because of some red tape or stickers they have put on there.
My question is, has anyone changed the color of thier needles? Do they make diffrent colored needles for our cars? or stickers? Or is this somthing i'll have to customize on my own?

IIRC only the back of the neddles are painted red. You can simply sand them down with a fine grade sand paper and repaint to the color of your liking.

Or if you want someone else to do the whole swap- read on here> LED Swap/Work

I was first under the impression that this thread was about explaining something you were experiencing while you voided your bladder....I am sure glad it wasn't....

What type of paint would you recommend to use on the needles? would model car paint work?

Yeah model car paint is fine. Or this. You can thin down the model car paint with paint thinner so its more of a translucent color so it allows your LED's to shine through. Apply 2 light coats and 1 clear coat. Test it out before you put everything back together.
